We have been in operation since 2016, delivering one-on-one finance career mentoring programs. About The Position:
For students who complete the Analyst Prep Program will be eligible to participate as a Growth Strategist intern executing the business marketing strategy.
We are in a high growth phase and are looking for a Growth Strategist to help execute our company’s go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate must be entrepreneurial, and energetic. This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want exposure to start-ups, investing, and strategic planning. The team aims to make Romero Mentoring the next LinkedIn for college students pursuing careers in finance and investing.

Responsibilities:
- Tasks will involve a mix of growth strategy, client interaction, reporting, and research
- Complete Romero Mentoring’s onboarding program and Growth Strategist training curriculum
- Design and execute a go-to-market strategy on university campuses for our educational programs
- Integrate consumer behavior insights, competitive intelligence, and marketplace considerations into the planning process
- Setting up their own social media channels as a form of content distribution (YouTube, IG, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Build valuation analysis, excel modeling, and investment analysis short clip videos and recommend our Starter-kit programs
- Identify early growth obstacles to drive high-level marketing recommendations and steer the strategy effectively
- Promote and present the company’s comprehensive self-study finance program, the Business & Analyst Essentials Program
- Actively engage with student clubs, campus referrals, and social media networks to introduce new students to Romero Mentoring
- Work with student clubs to understand their goals and needs around recruiting and the training of their membership base
- Monitor, optimize, and report the performance of your campaigns/initiatives regularly
- Incubate new opportunities for Romero Mentoring while assisting with ongoing business development initiatives including, but not limited to, building client relations, conducting market research, and hosting informational webinars

- Possess a blend of strategy experience across all go-to-market elements (positioning, messaging, organizational alignment, revenue generation, product marketing, campaign strategy, innovation, digital, content and demand)
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Proactive and driven individual with a self-motivated attitude; can wear many hats, ‘whatever it takes’ work ethic
- Strong team player who supports their team and embraces responsibility for the team’s work
- Work under minimal management and supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- At least 0-1 year of professional experience
- Minimum GPA: 3.20
- Experience in financial services or consulting performing business/financial analysis, financial modeling, etc. a plus
- Proven track record in building successful co-marketing initiatives with partners that produce compelling ROI
- Advanced use of Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Information:
- Job Type: Part-time (can lead to a full-time opportunity based on performance)
- Compensation: 10%-20% commission
