The program was a blessing in disguise for me, from in-depth knowledge on corporate finance to full-on real life investment banking internship, it has it all. I thoroughly enjoyed every part of the program starting from the recruitment process to the internship. I would highly recommend the Romero Mentoring Analyst Prep Program to any student/individual looking to gain relevant field experience as well as improving or learning professional financial skills which would help them dearly in their career in the financial services industry. The program is a perfect fit for the students looking to transform their life to not only reach their career goals but also become the best possible version of themselves.

I highly recommend this program to anyone who is interested in gaining a better understanding of the finance field and looking to challenge themselves. The essential technical and soft skills that you develop through this program are extremely versatile, so even if you don’t end up pursuing finance, the information you learn will most definitely help in preparing for interviews. Additionally, the amount of creative freedom and responsibility given to you during the internship are very reflective of what actual professionals in the industry do, so it really encourages students to perform ahead of the curve and gain an advantage in career development.

I would definitely recommend this program to students interested in finance who are looking to get a step ahead. As an undergraduate student pursuing finance in a college that does not provide a business degree, I learned a lot of key skills that I would not have otherwise gotten exposure to until junior year internships or full-time career roles. Although I do understand the cost and the time commitment can be intimidating, if you have the time and means to afford it, it’s a worthwhile investment!

I enjoyed my experience in all aspects of the program: training, internship, and mentorship. I was able to grow my technical skillset, learn more about the financial services industry, learn from an experienced industry professional, and gain insight into what tasks an investment banker or equity research analyst might carry out. My advice to students is that I would join this program if you are interested in going into a career on Wall Street and have limited experience/knowledge. This program will help to give an advantage into breaking into a field that is difficult to break into and learn from people who have already gone down the path you are trying to go down.

The Associate Program was exactly what I needed. I was going nowhere in my pursuit of a career change and the only option seemed like completing an MBA, which was out of my financial capability. The Associate Program seemed promising and it delivered as it was advertised on its website! To any students hesitant about joining, I would say just do it. As cliche as it may sound, this is truly an investment in your career. I am thankful I took the step and did because, without it, I would still be applying to jobs in the finance industry without sufficient knowledge or experience, and going nowhere.

Overall, the Analyst Prep Program was a great opportunity. Given that the recruiting process for top-level finance positions is so accelerated, it gave me valuable experience and technical skills that I otherwise would not have. I am very confident that I will be able to place into top firms because of this experience.

Being from a non-target school, this program was important for me. It gave me a skill set that has given me relevancy in the recruiting process and has allowed me to compete with graduates from target schools. If you are looking to build a strong base of financial knowledge there is no better place. The material is easy to comprehend and the mentoring is something that you cannot get anywhere else.

The Analyst Prep Program has definitely been one of my most valuable experiences in college so far. It taught me a lot of skills that I wouldn’t have been able to learn in school that allowed me to get a head start on my finance career. It’s a lot of work and time commitment, but it’s definitely worth it!

Many people think that investments and trading specifically are not that complicated but when they begin they face a lot of barriers and obstacles. Therefore, Romero Mentoring’s program is a brilliant way to prepare yourself for the Wall Street world. This program will allow you to think and perform exactly how people do at big banks and Hedge Funds. However, be ready because the program requires a lot of time commitment and dedication.

The training was valuable because it was very interactive. Not only would Mr. Romero walk you through how to build a financial model step-by-step (and you could follow by filling out your own Excel spreadsheet), but he would also talk about why we perform certain functions and explain the important line items. I found this to be very useful and it helped me understand the material even better.

My final remark is that the program is excellent in every way. Having now completed it all, I see that the return on investment is greater than I could have imagined – not just in the sense of opening up high-paying career opportunities, but also in the investing knowledge you will build that will allow you to analyze companies to determine if they fit your portfolio standards or not. To any student hesitant about joining, I can assure you that no other program will come close in level of detail or focus on best practices like Romero Mentoring will.

If you’re debating whether or not to join, just know that I was in your shoes awhile ago, and choosing to be part of this program has been the best decision I have ever made for myself professionally, and I strongly recommend it. You have absolutely nothing to lose, and the stuff you learn applies to any career you end up pursuing, not just exclusively finance. The real-world, practical knowledge and experience you get is something the traditional classroom does not offer most of the time. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow, and I encourage you to apply!

Have you ever wondered if what you learned at school is ever going to apply in your future job? Was it worth it to spend long nights studying for exams and you ended up forgetting them after exams? One, this program will provide you the practical side of your class materials and see the value of your education to your future career. Two, you will gain more knowledge and experiences than what you are learning from the classroom. Three, to gain or lose, you will at least find out what your finance career is looking for and what you lack and need to improve.

I came out of this program with a much better understanding of what financial modeling was, and when I look back at myself a couple months ago, I’m shocked at how much I’ve grown. I learned how to pitch a stock, which is an essential and basic skill for a finance professional to have. The one-on-one mentorship was incredibly helpful as well and definitely contributed to my growth. You won’t regret joining this program!

This message is to the undergraduates in community colleges or universities that are not well known. Just go for this program and give it a try if you are truly passionate about a career in finance. You may have observed that most of the alumni are from the top 50 universities and the acceptance rate is merely 4.2%. However, Romero Mentoring does not care about where the school’s origin, as long as you convince them that you are sincere in your desire to be an analyst and will commit yourself to the training and internship.

The quintessential aspect that separates Romero Mentoring from other training platforms out there is the personalized training aspect that is tailored to each individual. During our mentoring sessions, Mr. Romero was able to provide me highly specialized advice and guidance based on my situation and learning style which helped me understand valuable information faster and on a deeper level. Nowadays, there are a lot of cookie cutter training and video bundles out there however, all of them pale in comparison with the Romero Program due to their inability to understand specific questions/problems that students may have on an individual level.
