Experience Prior To The Associate Program

I used to work as a Financial Controller in a small law firm. I didn’t have knowledge or the desired skills of investment analyst prior to joining the program. I never had proper mentorship or internship experience that could lead me the right way. Romero Mentoring gave me both.

Training Experience

Luis Romero is the most valuable part of the training. His past experience in Investment Banking and personal approach for each student makes this program outstanding. All lectures and learning materials are well structured making the learning process way easier.

Internship Experience

The internship experience was strong, well paced, and professionally structured. Each task was harder than the previous one, making students apply knowledge learned during the program. For example, I had moments when I struggled to complete the assignment due to the problems with the repurchase schedule. I couldn’t make reasonable forecasts. After I went to previous cases, I could figure out my mistakes in formulas and avoid it from happening in the future.

Mentorship

As I already mentioned above, Luis Romero is the most valuable part of the training. His personal approach for each student and the care that he shows is incredible. My professors in Northeastern University were not as motivated to deliver knowledge to the students as him. I’m really thankful for those sessions.

Career Development

My resume before and after are two different things. I feel that in one year, I’d made more progress than in five years during my bachelor’s at Northeastern University. I’ve gained knowledge that will play a key role in my future and is invaluable experience to have on my CV. My interview pitch is getting better day after day.

Final Remarks

I received a bachelor's in Finance and Accounting management. My problem was that I never received the proper experience in my desired financial field. My goal was to grow as a professional and Romero Mentoring gave me that chance. I'm really thankful for the opportunity and will never forget it!
