Experience Prior To The Program

I was completely unfamiliar with the investment banking field. My only knowledge in financial background was financial accounting, and I was completely astonished by the amount of work in Excel and PowerPoint that the industry required. My goals for joining were to broaden my knowledge in Investment Banking and Equity Research, as well as investment skills.

Training Experience

The most valuable aspect about the training was Mr. Romero’s outstanding teaching abilities as well as his in-depth analyst skills that he successfully transferred to his students. It perfectly solidified my transparent goals in the field and strengthened my analyst skills in regard to modeling, presenting and completing valuations.

Internship Experience

The internship experience brought my level of knowledge and valuations skills from zero to one hundred. I was able to complete the internship phase through the in-depth program that was provided by Mr. Romero, and exponentially improve my skills in every aspect of the field that I was trained for.

Mentorship

The one-on-one mentorship, in my opinion, is what makes Romero Mentoring extremely outstanding. Mr. Romero’s personal guidance as well as phenomenal program videos were extremely successful in contributing to my improvements and development.

Career Development

It solidified my goals, expanded my knowledge and improved my skills. The program most importantly, made me confident enough to jump into other financial fields that could lead to an extension of what I learned.

Final Remarks

I would advise students to study more financial theories and fundamentals prior to joining the program. Even though learning the modeling skills and watching lecture videos do more than enough to improve the students knowledge, it'd be more beneficial and effective to have more background knowledge in the field rather than joining with a blank canvas.
