Before joining Romero Mentoring I had previous experience working in the financial advisory sector. Because I wanted to become more prepared with building financial models, I decided to join the program and it was the best decision possible. My expectations were just to be able to build financial models from the ground up, but the program far outweighed my expectations.
I really found the mentoring part the most valuable, having someone to guide you through the process and really dedicate time to you specifically on a one-on-one training.
The career development opened the gates for new opportunities in my career and prepared me for interview processes that came. I felt a step ahead of the majority of my peers.
During the internship part of the program, I was able to enhance the technical skills necessary to complete company valuation, analysis and recommendation conclusions. After learning those skills and learning how to build and analyze companies, I was able to apply those skills when doing the internship, completing analyses on a variety of companies by myself.
The mentorship was very helpful really understanding what mistakes I made or the room for improvement there was on a one-on-one basis. It was a time for feedback, discussing ideas and solutions, and really improving your work. The mentorship allowed me to improve and learn at a faster rate.
It really built the skills necessary to excel in the industry and stand out in the crowd. It opened the gates for new opportunities in my career and prepared me for interview processes that came. I felt a step ahead of the majority of my peers.
It is really an investment on YOU! If you're really interested in the industry and want to get that hands-on experience, this is the best step.
