Before joining the Analyst Prep Program, I had absolutely zero experience with finance. My goals were to better understand this obscure realm, and learn what it was like to work in the finance industry.
I found the three statement modeling and technical skills to be the most valuable component of the training.
One-on-one mentorship was perhaps the most valuable component of this program. Being able to interact personally with Mr. Romero, direct questions about basic modeling and more complex analysis to him, and speaking with him about general career advice was a very positive experience for me.
The internship experience, as well as the responsibilities it entailed and skills that it required, was an extremely valuable means of getting greater exposure to financial analysis at a professional level.

The program offered several opportunities to connect with some alumni in the program, which helped me gain greater exposure to the finance industry.
For someone hesitant about joining, this program is a phenomenal means of gaining greater exposure to the world of finance and learning how to model and value companies at a professional level.
